K9 Instincts will travel to your home to demonstrate how you can communicate with your dog’s natural instincts. PAWS® is natural for your dog and results in a kinder, calmer, and more positive way to communicate with your canine family member. We are not able to offer specific advice without being able to meet with you and your dog in your home environment.

PAWS® represents:

P – Perceived Danger & Barking
A – Appropriate Feeding
W – Walking & Recall
S – Separating & Reuniting

By following all areas within PAWS®, you will be able to gain the Willing Cooperation of your Dog. This is a way-of-life interaction for you and your dog. It is not about commands or forcing our will on our dogs; but how to interact with them without the use of force, gadgets, or drugs. PAWS® allows us to teach our dogs what we do and don’t want so they can think for themselves. We don’t deal with just the individual symptoms of misbehavior; we work with the overall well-being of our dogs. This is not an overnight fix but with consistent commitment on your part, you will see results within 2-5 weeks.

PAWS® is based on the method of dog listening. Dani Rouse Holland of K9 Instincts LLC has Foundation and Advanced Certification in Canine Communication. K9 Instincts LLC is affiliated with Pure Dog Listeners (PDL) of the United Kingdom and Dog Listeners Down Under (DLDU) of Australia and New Zealand.

In-home consultations:

Option A – 2 visits with lifetime backup support – $400. The first visit will take 2-3 hours (or longer) as we will stay until you understand what you need to know. The second visit will be 3-4 weeks later to review PAWS®and answer any other questions after you’ve had a chance to apply PAWS®. Lifetime backup support allows you to contact us via phone/email for your lifetime (as PAWS® works with all dogs) without any extra charges. No more than 2 home visits are needed, but if more are desired by the client, they are available for $25 per hour.

Option B – 2 visits with 1-year backup support – $250. Same as option 1 except you only have backup support for 1 year via phone/email without any extra charges. No more than 2 home visits are needed, but if more are desired by the client, they are available for $50 per hour.

We take cash, check, or credit/debit cards. A $50 deposit is needed to schedule an in-home consultation. We can email a PayPal link to you which allows you to use your PayPal account or your credit/debit card. If you prefer to write a check, you can mail it to: K9 Instincts LLC, 302 Port Arthur, PO Box 83, Trimble, MO 64492. Once the check is received, you will be contacted to schedule your consultation.

In addition to families, K9 Instincts works with humane societies, rescue groups, animal care, and shelter facilities to improve behavior problems for all canines. K9 Instincts is also available to work with businesses where encountering canines may be part of their daily job, such as delivery personnel. These groups are requested to call or use the “Contact Us” page to inquire on fees for their specific situations.
